OUR STORY AND OUR INSPIRATION

It’s a good thing Enrique Corcuera didn’t have a bigger garden.

In 1969, realising that his home in Acapulco couldn’t quite accommodate a full tennis court, the Mexican businessman decided to invent something else entirely. A smaller court surrounded by walls; a game played with a wooden palas instead of a racket.

It was a labour of love as much as necessity. Enrique’s love of games and competition; his love for the beautiful surroundings of his Acapulco home; but mostly his love for his wife, Viviana, who insisted they played together every single day.

Today, as soon as someone plays Padel, they seem to fall instantly in love with it — infected by the same sense of fun and ingenuity that made it such a hit in a businessman’s just-too-small garden in Acapulco, more than half a century ago.

At PULCO STUDIOS, we want to keep Padel’s original spirit of innovation and love alive. Our products are made for playing in, but also for living in. They can take you from the court to the clubhouse with ease. They’re designed specially with the sport we love in mind. And they’re characterised by clever innovations, state-of-the-art materials, and genuinely thoughtful details.

They’re our own labour of love — and our way of honouring padel’s roots while looking to its bright future.
